Terms and Conditions

Welcome to With Kindness and Care Counseling. By accessing this website or engaging in services with Samantha Benenati, LMHC, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

General Terms

  1. Services:  With Kindness and Care Counseling provides individual mental health therapy services for clients ages 12 and up. All services are provided virtually. Samantha Benenati, LMHC is licensed in the state of Florida and may only provide services to clients located within Florida at the time of their session.
  2. Appointments & Cancellations: We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or missed sessions without notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Repeated missed appointments may result in termination of services.
  3. Confidentiality: Your privacy is taken seriously. All information shared in sessions is kept strictly confidential in accordance with HIPAA regulations and applicable state laws. There are limited exceptions to confidentiality, including but not limited to situations involving risk of harm to yourself or others, abuse of a child or vulnerable adult, or when required by a court of law. These exceptions will be discussed in detail during your first session.
  4. Payment & Insurance: Payment is due at the time of service. I partner with major insurance carriers to help make therapy accessible. It is your responsibility to verify your coverage, copay, and benefits with your insurance provider prior to your first session. You are responsible for any costs not covered by your insurance plan.
  5. Virtual Sessions: All sessions are conducted virtually. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a private, secure, and stable internet connection for each session. Virtual therapy may not be appropriate for all situations. In the case of a crisis or emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
  6. Website Use:The content on this website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical or psychological advice. Use of this website does not create a therapist-client relationship. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 911 immediately.
  7. Changes to These Terms. With Kindness and Care Counseling reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of this website or services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

User Responsibilities & Conduct

By utilizing the tools and materials offered by With Kindness and Care Counseling, you acknowledge the importance of maintaining an environment built on mutual integrity. In our practice in Tampa, Florida, users are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:
