Resources & FAQs
What are my areas of speciality?
I work with individuals ages 12 and up, offering individual sessions only. My work is especially focused on supporting women navigating life's challenges and transitions, and adolescents and adults facing the unique pressures of life. Individuals with ADHD are learning to understand and thrive with it, and those struggling with hyperindependence. For clients under 18, parental consent is required prior to beginning sessions.
Do you provide virtual or in-person counseling sessions?
I offer flexible options to meet your needs, including both in-person sessions at my private practice and secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy. Telehealth is a wonderful option for those with busy schedules or those who prefer the comfort of their own home.
How does insurance work?
When you use insurance for therapy, your provider covers a portion of the session cost based on your plan. You are typically responsible for a copay — a set amount you pay at the time of each session. Depending on your plan, you may also have a deductible that needs to be met before your insurance begins covering sessions. I partner with major insurance carriers to make therapy as accessible as possible. Contact your insurance provider directly to verify your coverage, confirm whether I am in-network under your specific plan, and ask what your copay will be for outpatient mental health services.
What is my Cancelation Policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid a late-cancellation fee. I understand emergencies happen and will consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
